Our fence is made of 16 north poles. Each north pole is connected to a channel on our LOR boxes and can blink independently. They are made from PVC, tape, concrete, rebar, paint, and electric. Click here to download a file which details how to make them for yourself. Also note that since 2007 when we created these, we've had a chance to think about how we might have done them differently. We've decided that although the concrete has benefits, it's not completely practical. A friend made his north poles with a light-weight styrofoam construction that makes for much easier storage.
