Radio Sign

We used Adobe Illustrator to make this sign, but you could EASILY make a similar sign in Microsoft PowerPoint.

From Copeland Christmas Blog
  • In PowerPoint, create a new presentation. File > New.
  • Adjust the page layout to 18 x 24 which is s standard sign size.
  • Draw a large rectangle and fill it with a blue radial gradient.
  • Add word art, and stylize as desired (drop shadow, outer glow, black border, etc.).
  • Add clip art. Hint: if you insert Microsoft clipart in any Office program, you can ungroup twice and then change colors of each individual shape as desired. Try it!
  • For the snow, I used the curve tool and created a custom shape, then filled it with white.
  • Notice how the "www" and the ".com" have tighter leading than the middle of the web address. Also notice how the C's in "CopelandChristmas" are larger and more bold than the other text. Use large text...the simpler the better.

Here's the danger sign we had printed. Email me if you'd like the original artwork for these signs...we're happy to share.
